Executive Leadership
FOUNDER, CHAIRMAN AND CEO
David F. Alfonso
Franklin, Tennessee
First-generation American, born to Francisco and Ana Maria Alfonso, who fled Socialist Cuba in 1961 in pursuit of freedom and the American dream.
A disguised private equity investor and true self-made entrepreneur, he is a seasoned CEO and turnaround operating partner with over 25 years of experience in strategic acquisitions, operational transformations, and leadership.
With over 60 global transactions, he has built a reputation for detailed due diligence, “boots on the ground” turnaround execution, and consistent delivery of results. He is relentless about keeping promises to business partners, lenders, and the teams he leads and has developed a repeatable, proven model for value creation that starts at diligence, drives through transitions, and ends in successful exits.
Often stepping in as interim CEO, he leads from the front - driving cultural change, restoring operational rigor, and charting paths to sustainable growth. Even when not in the CEO seat, he remains closely involved as a portfolio manager, guiding CEO’s and their executive teams, tracking performance, solving challenges, and ensuring growth targets are exceeded.
He has led deals representing over $2 billion in enterprise value, across businesses generating over $5 billion in annual revenue, employing thousands worldwide, and with significant international exposure across 50+ countries.
